OPERATING PRINCIPLES

The rules we actually run on.

Four principles

Own the outcome, not the ticket

We answer for software that works in production, not for tickets closed. That changes the questions we ask and how early we ask them.

Make the expensive decisions early

Architecture is the handful of choices that cost a fortune to undo later. We settle them on paper, while they're still cheap to change.

Write it down

If only the person who wrote it can run it, it isn't finished. Clear docs and infrastructure as code are how we hand you something you truly own.

Say where AI doesn't belong

We put AI to work where it earns its keep. We'll also tell you straight where it's the wrong tool, even when it's the popular answer.

HOW WE WORK

A method that holds up once real users arrive.

05 steps
01/ 05
FRAME

Understand before we estimate

We dig into the actual problem, the constraints, and the systems already in place, then scope it honestly. We won't quote on a problem we haven't understood yet.

02/ 05
ARCHITECT

Decide the shape early

The data model, the boundaries, and the parts most likely to change get worked out up front, while decisions are still cheap to revise and the expensive mistakes are still on paper.

03/ 05
BUILD

Ship in working increments

Short cycles, reviewed code, and something runnable at the end of each one. You see progress in the working product, not in a status deck.

04/ 05
HARDEN

Test it like it's already live

Automated coverage, performance under real load, and the edge cases found before release. The cheapest bug is the one your users never hit.

05/ 05
OPERATE

Stay after launch

Monitoring, iteration, and a clean handover with documentation so someone other than us can run it. Launch is the start of the relationship, not the end of the job.
